Your Wishlist For Less
I’m really trying to get better at not spending money so much. I want to save as much as I can for future trips and larger expenses, but there are so many little wants here and there that seem to call my name! My typical rule of thumb is that I have to lust over something for at least a couple months before I deem it a worthy splurge. Plus, if it’s a clothing item, I need to be able to imagine wearing it at least 3 different ways.
I have it on good authority that most of what’s on my wish list is also on yours. (I mean hello, I’m on Pinterest like 24/7…I see what’s popular.)
So…if you just absolutely have to have it – I’m giving you the lust-worthy options for less. You’re welcome. Happy Monday. Je t’aime mon cherie. (That doesn’t exactly fit, but it’s all I know how to say in French.)
No they’re not the same, but there’s an $80 difference and a practicality issue at question. As a college student, the old navy heeled sandals are much more affordable, and you’d get tons more wear out of them since they are more casual. Try them with a sundress, jeans, or whatever you’re wearing to your next lunch date.
I’ve really been wanting to try the gingham trend; I think it’s fun and flirty for spring/summer. However, since I know I can only wear it for a couple months and only when I go somewhere where I can’t wear a t-shirt (not many places that I frequent haha), I think it’s best to go for a more inexpensive option. (By the way, this post isn’t sponsored by Old Navy…I just love their selection for trends for less!)
10-year-old me had a beloved acid wash denim skirt with a sparkle tie belt from Limited Too that she adored. I’m so excited the trend is back! Now if only Limited Too would come back from the tween fashion grave and have a sale on their sparkle belts. (Please tell me someone remembers those, too!) I think Target is your best bet because they have a couple different washes and styles for under $25!
What’s on your wish list? What are your favorite places to shop at to get trendy looks for less?
X,
Cristina
P. S. I added a “vlogs” tab to the blog, so you can watch all of Cam and I’s go pro videos in one place! Check it out and have a great week.
