Fall Grocery Items To Try

You know what I find relaxing?

Walking around the grocery store.

Is that weird? (I’ll pretend it isn’t, for the sake of this post.)

The other day, I was just feeling so overwhelmed with school, work, and senior year #lyfe, so I randomly found myself at Whole Foods, backpack on and headphones in, just wondering. Ok, so I was out of protein bars for my snack stash, but I’m pretty sure I went up every single aisle just admiring the “pumpkin this” and “pumpkin that”.

It got me thinking that I should share some good snack ideas here, in case you find yourself wondering the local grocery store for catharsis sometime soon 😂

I’ve been loving all the pumpkin things because it’s just my favorite flavor! Summer fruits are fun for snacks and peppermint mochas are definitely one of my favorite cozy beverages in winter, but give me all the fall snacks and foods!

I’ve been trying different seasonal snacks here and there, and today I’m rounding up my favorites.

Pumpkin Spice Cheerios

If you’re a honey nut lover, these are your new best friend. I actually like them for adding a little crunch to my smoothies and yogurts. Or if you just need something to munch on while studying at the lib, these in a little ziploc baggie are a life saver.

Pumpkin Pie Lara Bars

Lara bars are some of my favorite bars because of their simple ingredients. (And they’re super affordable – so I can grab a whole handful for a week’s worth of snacks.) I really liked this pumpkin flavored one even though I’m hopelessly devoted to the peanut butter chocolate chip flavor. This is a nice change!

Pumpkin Spice Clif Bars

OH MY WORD. If there’s one thing you purchase from this list, it’s these bad boys. I am seriously sad thinking about how they aren’t a year-round thing. Clif bars are hands down my favorite bars – they are so filling and give me an energy boost! I love this flavor so much, but for non-seasonal flavors my favorites are peanut butter chocolate chip, banana bread, and white chip macadamia.

Pumpkin Spice Nature Valley Bars

These are so fun! Sometimes I feel like after munching on fruit, yogurt, and cheese, I really need some crunch in my day. This satisfies!

Maple flavored Brown Cow Whole Milk Yogurt

I LOVE this brand of whole milk yogurt – it’s so creamy! The maple flavor is perfect for fall, but I honestly haven’t tried a flavor I don’t like.

Pumpkin Spice Chai Tazo Tea

Cinnamon Simple Mills Cookies

I bought these one week when I was super busy, and didn’t have time to bake anything homemade! Perfect when you’re reading in bed with a cup of tea and want a little dessert.

  • I find myself to be a little picky about my pumpkin spice things, but these sound awesome! I have to try out that chai tea. My favorite fall snack, or indulgent, would definitely be pumpkin bread 🙂

      I’m really wanting to make pumpkin bread soon! I have a friend about to start her maternity leave from work and I thought I could bake her some and maybe do a muffin form that she could freeze. Let me know if you have a great recipe! 🙂
